High-resolution digital audio signals, in particular, need both a precise and stable pulse as a basis for high-quality D/A conversion as well as clean, interference-free 5 volt power supply. In addition, the USB interfaces on computers and notebooks are susceptible to electromagnetic interference and signal noise. The Oehlbach PureClock eliminates the pulse dithering known as "jitter" and the high-frequency interfering signals almost completely and guarantees perfect synchronisation between the USB interface and the converter.
