Overview
The 1000b series is a compact version of the 1500a Series. The slimmer profile allows depth challenged applications to benefit from high output and great thermal power handling. All moving parts are American made, with state-of-the-art technology.
The 1000b Series subs are hand built in our USA facility using parts developed with long term associations with our Amercan vendors. The voice coil uses the same high temperature grade wire as our 9500 Series. The suspension is optimized for 100-500 watt per driver system design yeilding a combination of extended low frequency response and high output. We use multiple glue types and multiple glue joints for all attachment points to give the long term durability DD subs are known for.
The 1000 Series can be optioned out with composite cones, composite dustcaps, Xstiff suspension and a multitude of logo options.
The 1000b Series shows that DD Audio can produce high-end, made in the USA subs competitive at price points with mass produced imports. There is no longer a need to compromise performance and quality when on a limited budget. Save the Planet, buy DD.
