Overview

With an enclosure rounded at the sides and rear, silk-matt lacquered baffle, magnetically secured fabric cover – the Quantum 725 2.5-way bass-reflex loudspeaker boasts a very elegant visual appearance. And outstanding acoustic qualities: While a 30 mm HRH fabric tweeter with special damping and ferrofluid cooling provides for excellent transparency and resolution in the upper frequency ranges, two 170 mm diameter FE Dynamics drivers together take care of the bass ranges, with only the upper chassis responsible for the mid-tone range. Thanks to the ventilated voice coil and generous vents in the sturdy metal basket, the Klippel-optimised drivers with ceramic-aluminium membranes ensure high load capacity values.
