They range from 10\u2033 all the way up to a 18\u2033, the models being : <strong>DD-3510e-2<\/strong> (10\u2033), <strong>DD-3512e-2<\/strong> (12\u2033), <strong>DD-3515e-2<\/strong> (15\u2033) and the <strong>DD-3518e-2<\/strong> (18\u2033).<\/p>\n<p>And its no wonder they sound so amazing when the same technology that goes into the <strong>9500 Series<\/strong> voice-coils are used in the <strong>3500 Series<\/strong> too!<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hifihq.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DD3500.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"557\" src=\"https:\/\/hifihq.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DD3500.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-73\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hifihq.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DD3500.jpg 600w, https:\/\/hifihq.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/DD3500-300x279.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The motor system used in the <strong>3500 Series<\/strong> also utilizes the <strong>DD\u00a0Audio<\/strong> exclusive <strong>FREE FLOW COOLING SYSTEM<\/strong>, they have increased the number of vents to spread the heat\u00a0dissipation\u00a0over a wider area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Separate cooling vents machined into the voice coil, top plate and pole piece focus cooling air into the magnetic gap and around both sides of the voice coil with every up and down movement. This cooling system actually lowers the working temperature of the voice coil, thereby lowering the stress on the entire audio system. The harder the sub-woofer works, the more air is blown onto the coil wire!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I could go on about every bit of technology that is put into the <strong>3500 Series<\/strong> but I would end up writing a massive novel, even our MD holds the <strong>3500 Series<\/strong> in high regard and even is running a <strong>DD-3510e-2<\/strong> that he has\u00a0squeezed into a <strong>DD-LE310<\/strong> enclosure with some modification.
