MAGNAT PRESENTS SOUNDBAR SB 180 WITH BLUETOOTH® AND VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE POINT

This is how compact home cinema sound can be today: The new Magnat Soundbar SB 180 instantly improves the sound of any flat-screen TV. While doing so, the device itself stays completely unobtrusive: The front of the external 70 Watt subwoofer is smaller then a standard piece of DIN A4 paper. In addition to classical connections via cable (2x analogue, 1x digital) for TV, gaming console, streaming device or TV receiver, the SB 180 also provides an integrated Bluetooth® module. This way the Soundbar improves home cinema sound massively and works as a powerful stereo system for mobile sources at the same time.

At IFA 2017, the SB 180 was presented for the first time and now it is already available in stores. Famous German developer Magnat offers the new high-class Soundbar at a very competitive price point: The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is only 249.- Euro. This way Magnat opens the world of home cinema sound even to beginners in this area, providing them with a powerful yet compact combination of Soundbar and subwoofer.

Flat screen, deep sound with SB 180
Over the past years, TVs have become almost as thin as smartphones. Undisputedly, this opens lots of new options for placing the TV and – not to forget – looks just great in the living room. But that comes at a price as well: Flat screens mean flat sound because powerful, precise audio reproduction simply needs a certain volume. A convenient solution for a growing number of customers is a Soundbar which provides the perfect compromise for living room-friendly home cinema sound. An extremely compact model called SB 180 is now available in the portfolio of German developer Magnat. The set comprising the Soundbar itself and an external subwoofer can be installed quickly and instantly improves the TV sound.

Precise audio reproduction, crisp bass, compact size
The SB 180 is a fully active sound system without the necessity for an additional amplifier or AV receiver. Instead of the flat TV from now on the Soundbar featuring 2x 30 watts, two 14 mm Tweeters and two 52 mm midrange drivers is in charge of the home cinema sound. All genres from action movies to sports events will benefit greatly from the Soundbar as well as the external 70 watts subwoofer and its 165 mm driver. Despite the crisp and powerful bass it provides, the subwoofer is extremely compact in size: It measures only 160 x 283 x 310 mm and can be placed easily in any room. The Soundbar receives its audio signals directly from the TV, receiver, gaming console or streaming device. It features a total of two analogue inputs (3.5 mm jack and stereo Cinch) as well as one digital (optical) input.

Enjoy music conveniently thanks to Bluetooth®
The SB 180 is more than just a powerful home cinema set – it works as a high-class stereo system as well: External sources like smartphones, tablets or notebooks connect with the Soundbar conveniently via Bluetooth®. This way listening to ones favourite music, audio books or podcasts directly from the mobile device becomes even easier – wirelessly and in perfect quality.

Easy installation and setup
The SB 180 can be placed directly on top of the TV furniture just below the TV. Alternatively, the Soundbar is prepared for easy wall mounting. Given its depth of only 55 millimetres, it blends into the rest of the home cinema unobtrusively. For a maximum of convenience in everyday use, a handy remote control is included in the scope of delivery. It controls source selection, volume and the DSP, for example. A cable for connecting the external subwoofer is included as well.
